About Jana Faiky
Jana has been teaching Group Exercise and Personal Training since 1990. She is AFAA group exercise & Personal Trainer certified as well as Peak Pilates Certified. The more she learned the more she wanted to learn, so she went back to college and earned her Bachelors degree in Physical Education from Bridgewater State College in in 1999.
She has explored many avenues in fitness including being the conditioning coach for the Men’s soccer team at Mt Ida College, a Fitness Director at a Health club, The Director of Marketing for a Fitness Education Company, a trainer’s trainer teaching/training people to prepare for nation certification for group exercise instructor and personal trainer, and a continuing education provider.
In June 2007 she realized her dream an opened Fitness Directions. All of her experiences helped her to create her studio. Her goal was to offer top notch service with the best trainers in the area in a welcoming, progressive environment. Jana loves to see people become empowered as she assists them to reach their health & fitness goals. She remains on the cutting edge by attending continuing education workshops and she works out regularly with her trainer at Pure Pilates Inc.
